And it seemed that day that traffic would definitely take me more than 2 hours to reach DOH. So, while looking hopelessly at the traffic outside the window of the bus (taking the MRT was doubly impossible because of the long, long queue), I decided not to look at the time on my cellphone screen--that would just stress me up.
Finally, I reached Star Mall and immediately went to look for a restroom to relieve myself in. The one at Chowking had a long line so I went to McDo along the Shaw Boulevard side of Star Mall. There were only 3 restroom patrons in line. Good!
That was when I decided to look at the time on my cellphone. It was 8:47! I couldn't believe it! I was expecting something like 9 or past 9 am. And thinking that my cellphone time was advanced 10 minutes, I figured it was only 8:37 am! I'd make it to the appointment after all! I just needed to take a 15-minute jeepney ride and a 3-minute tricycle ride.
Well, OK, perhaps more than 3 minutes via tricycle.
When I got to the DOH office, perfect! The architect was still there although it was already 9:10 am and we were able to talk. It couldn't have happened without God's hand in it. It was like God stopped the hands of time, or slowed it down, while I was stuck in traffic. And God also made sure the architect was kept busy for a while in his office so he couldn't leave it at 9 am. Indeed, all things worked together for good!
A day after, the same thing happened. I was to meet with the DOH architect again and traffic along EDSA was heavy as usual, but I was able to get to the DOH office at 7:50 am! Praise God! God, I hope it always works this way! Thanks!
