Better Looking Eye

Now the left eye looks better--thank God! It's still a little bit swelled but my ophthalmologist neighbor said it's looking better. He'd see it again tomorrow to decide if it needs slicing up to get all the pus out. Thanks God, for healing. My wife is coming home today from an overnight at Nueva Ecija with her niece who came from the US. God, protect them, especially my wife.

Having an eye doctor in the neighborhood is God's blessing.

My son's face is also a bit improved after using his new meds--the one advised him when we had visited a derma at Heart Center last Tuesday. Again, thank you God.

Yesterday, my wife's sis called her up on my wife's cellphone and my wife happened to turn the loudspeaker on. I heard how her sister yelled again at my wife and talked to her as if my wife were a piece of shit. My wife just stared blankly at me, shocked as to what her fault was that she deserved such scolding. She told me she didn't know what her sin was that her sister should treat her like that. I just comforted her and told her I didn't  like her working at the school anymore where her sister was principal. We could live without being degraded like that.

I'm also careful that no hatred is in our hearts--but we need to stay away from people who want to put us down, who look down on us and treat us as dog shit. My wife has had enough. We've been living like this for decades, being patient with the rottenness of other people--especially those who profess to be Christians but are worse than demons. So, God, please help us. And prosper us so that we won't need to rely on other people anymore,. I want the things you show in in your Word. Do those blessings and favors to me and my wife. Have pity on us.

I read on my FB wall that we should look at others who have heavier problems than we do to realize how blessed we are. I really don't agree. Those more miserable people are there not so we can feel more comfy about our less miserable situation--they're there so we can pray for them and insist that God also have pity on them as well as us. They're not there suffering as props to make us feel better. Rather, we should join them in prayer and seeking God's mercy and grace.

I don't feel more blessed because I see a diabetic person having his leg cut and I just have to deal with a lesser, simple eye problem. I'm going to ask God to have pity on both of us. Because I believe God can easily fix me a better looking eye and zero-diabetes for the other guy. I believe that's how it should be. Suffering people are not there to make us feel better about ourselves. That's why the Word says pray for one another.

God, thank you for everything! And give this bonus--I want to have every blessing and favor you reveal to me in your spoken Word. Make them happen in my time and in the time of my descendants--and on. I ask this because I know your power and limitless capacity. And let them be for your glory!
